It's been a while..

..since I last mustered up the energy/motivation to post. There's a huge pile of ironing waiting for me, so ever one to give into procrastination.. I'm sitting here updating the blog.. hurrah for crinkled clothes (I'm sure they're in fashion now.. somewhere).

Noah's now got a tooth, as Rich discovered when he bit his finger last week! He's crawling about the place at great speed, and waving (I think Amie can take credit for teaching him that). He's also saying "mamamam" and "dadda", and generally being a very cute little chap.

Amie kindly gave up her chair, so Noah could use it as a highchair. He seems pretty happy about it.

"I'm a little Dutch girl.." Amie enjoys wearing her clogs, it's a pity that they are actually, offically a size too small.. but considering they don't look that comfortable anyway, I don't think she's even noticed. She'll be cramming her foot in, ugly sister style, for a few more weeks to come I think.

This seemed like a good idea at the time, after 5 mins Amie gets pretty heavy though.

So, a lot has happened in a month. Both Granny and Grandad O'Brien have been over to Wedel to see the grandchildren, Rich has been to China and South Africa and we've all been to the UK to see Nana, Pa and the rest of Rich's family! I feel I now have some excuse for leaving it so long between updates, especially as it takes ages to upload these pictures. But I know the pictures of Amie and Noah are the whole reason you click on here.. so I'd best get on with it and quit talking :)

Amie walking to school. She insisted on walking with her bag on her back, even though it's a 20 minute walk (15 if I manage to get her to go in the buggy) and the bag was quiet heavy... at least it uses up her energy (that's grandad in the distance pushing Noah :)

Amie's speaking is coming on, though sometimes she makes me laugh... she says "Oh my cushions" when she means "Oh my goodness" for example, and when she says "Goodnight retard" to me, what she actually means is "Goodnight sweetheart" (or at least that's what I tell myself).

My favourite view of Amie, asleep and not causing choas!

Noah was happy chewing on toys, while Amie enjoyed playing connect 4 with her two cousins at Nana and Pa's.

Noah and Benjamin seem to be enjoying themselves. Every time we get the kids together we try to get a nice photo of them all.. but there's always on picking their nose (or the nose of their neighbour) and it's just generally not possible...but still fun to try.

Amie having fun at the 5 star cat hotel Neo and Jessie stayed in while we were in the UK.

This is the closest I'm ever going to get to getting a picture of Amie with pigtails.. even though her hair is, just, long enough to have a bobbin in.. being the tomboy she is, she doesn't like having anything in her hair and pulls them out the minute she gets a chance.

What a lot of traveling you have all been doing! You'll have to watch your back too with Amie up on your shoulders (I blame my 2 chunky monkeys for my back problems!). Cx

Aw, Amie's very cute in the pigtails... And Noah's getting much bigger. He'll be almost one by the time I get back to Europe. I had a bit of time to catch up with your blog, good to read what you all are up to. Marie
