Some new pictures

This has been an interesting week so far. On Monday Amie, Noah and I spent 50 minutes in a broken lift at the trains tation before the technician came and let us out. On the plus side, it was a glass lift, so I didn't feel too clausterphobic... I felt more like a goldfish, it's amazing how many people don't believe you when you tell them the lift is broken, and insist on staring in at you and pressing the buttons... and then give you a flithy look as though you've choosen to block access to the lift for everyone. Thankfully, the kids didn't seem to mind. I spent the whole time 'singing' songs with actions to try to keep them distracted, which resulted in a few dizzy spells.. which I put down to hyperventillation.

Then on Tuesday when I collected Amie, she had blood splashed on her top.. she'd fallen and hit her mouth off a bench.. which has resulted in a very swollen and black top lip... luckily on the inside, so it's not too noticible. The dentist said she was extremly lucky with the angle she fell at.. othewise she would have knocked out or pushed her teeth back into her gum. She's speaking with a bit of a lisp, and is using the whole thing as an excuse to eat ice-cream (got to admire her for that), but otherwise she's fine.

Noah trying out his mother's glasses

Noah hasn't been too well this week. He's had a fever, which I think is linked to his bronchitis (which he's had for months) I've to take him back to the doctor tomorrow, but thankfully today so far he's been fever free, so I hope he's on the mend.

Action shot.. what you don't see is my shouting "Langsam, Langsam" at the top of my lungs, before diving out of the way of an oncoming tree. (I must have missed the "What to say to a run-away donkey" lesson in my German class, but I think I improvised well) Luckily the guy leading managed to stop the donkey in it's tracks, but by the look on Amie's face she rather enjoyed the ride!

Hi Brenda, you cannot believe how Mike and I have often wondered how you are, so your letter is so welcome. Life has been kind to us, but what about you - that for us is more important - Peter was in hospital when you came with glandular fever of the spleen - you touched our lives in a way that will never be forgotton. Our hearts went out to you and our inability to help has always been a serious blot on our landscape of life. You cannot believe how your letter has lifted our spirits! Peter has also two children, Logan and Elliot and currently they are living with us as they get an extension (therebye hangs another tale) We believed in you and the truly lovely person you are, and you have proven that to us by your letter -please use the email address - as for the apologies - not necessary, your letter out of the blue tickled us both pink!- good luck and love to you and yours
Take care and much love to you
Sue and Mike x (proud grandparents of 4 - Peter's (3 and 18 mths Logan and Elliot) John (2 yrs (Billy_ and 2 weeks!( Charolette Ann)

Dear Sue and Mike,

How lovely to hear from you. I only noticed your post last night, over two weeks after you posted and was so happy to hear from you.

Unfortuantely I cannot access your email address... mine is piggynluk@yahoo.co.uk. Please write to me there, and I'll be able to reply to you.

I'm so happy to hear that you have grandchildren.. Peter's children are pretty much the same age as my two. And how cute to have a 2 week old baby around.. I miss when the children were very tiny, but not enough to go through it all again ;)

Love Brenda
